Chick’s Craft Company items are made-to-order, and will not ship immediately. Each pet accessory is 100% handmade and customized to your specifications (if elected). My typical processing time (the number of days between order placement and shipment) is between 3-5 business days, but varies frequently due to my schedule (furbabies/family/life) and work load (number of orders currently in my inbox). My processing times will always be visible at the top of the “Item Description” of each individual listing and also are included in the “Shop Update” section of my Etsy shop page. This time is accounted for in the shipping estimate provided by Etsy when you are checking out as well.

As a write-everything-down-or-forget person myself, I KNOW how things sometimes fall thru the cracks and need to be RUSHED. I will always do my best to accommodate your schedule and needs, but I have to also consider my personal needs and the needs of my all my other customers. So, with all that in mind, I created my Rush Order listing that can be purchased to expediate your Chick’s Craft Company order.

— Your order will jump to the front of the line, skipping ahead of all others, to be the next items sewn and shipped

— A guarantee that your pet accessories will be in the mail within 48 (business) hours of purchase. (Keep Sundays and government holidays in mind, because if the Post Office isn’t open, I obviously can’t ship).

— An upgrade from First Class/Ground (~ 3-5 days) mail service to Priority (~ 1-3 days) – no need to pay for upgraded shipping at checkout

The cost to have your order expedited is determined by the number of items you purchased. Customization Add On listings, such as Trim & Vinyl do not count as an item and do not affect price. Refer to the listing, linked below, for current rates, as they may change.

Keep in mind, you are paying for time and convenience. This little business keeps me very busy and most of my time is accounted for weeks in advance. If I had to guess, 85% of the hours I spend sewing Rush Orders is time I *should* be sleeping. All night-ers are not very easy once you reach a certain age… -_- This girl, and the furbabies, like to sleep!
